What is that tank like thing infront of the seat? Where can you get them from now? thanks....

It's a storage container (not a fuel cell). Though I have seen them used to house fuel cells on other bikes. I'm fine w/ my mileage of up to 130km/litre so no worries there.
It's made in Korea and I purchased mine in downtown Tokyo, about 30 minutes from where I live. You can see the shop online at: http://www.tokyodo.com. Family owned (overpriced) cub parts shop.
Btw, I checked your blog and see that you are involved in the transportation of medical supplies and personel in Africa using Cubs and 4x4s. I read about one of those adventures a while back. Good work!
Also, if you're not already a member of yahoo group honda c70, you should be if you own a C bike. It's not limited to the USA model C70. And there is more expertise on that group site than anywhere on the net. Trust me, I've looked. :)
