Gedo Senki

Studio Ghibli's newest based on the Ursula K. Le Guin Novel. Miyazaki's son, Goro, is helming this one as a first time director. Word is, his dad Hayao, wasn't too keen on it at first. The son had been the managing director of the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka and not an animator like his father. However when he showed his sketches to the staff at Studio Ghibli, they were quite impressed at his artistic skills.

Of course, Hayao Miyazaki films are not great simply for their animation and artistry alone, but in the characters and story telling, which play a huge part in every film. We'll have to wait and see how much of that the son inherited.
