These are Everywhere

These, "big scooters", as they're called, are simply, everywhere. Young boys love them. You can see them listed on the Honda homepage at http://www.honda.co.jp/motor-lineup/

They go from a Super Wing 600 to a Fusion 244. Even though they can run 600cc's, they're still considered "scooters", if only in name. Almost to a bike, they are outfitted with overloud exhaust extenders, which make them sound more like bullfrogs than bikes. But, I guess the young punks like that. ;)

Looking Out for Snow

First Sunset of the New Year

We were lucky. We had a White New Years's Eve! And that's a real treat for Tokyo. I think it was 21 years ago since Tokyo had seen that much snow in so short a time. The kids loved it, though I did hear many adults complaining about it. Count me in with the kids! I loved it, too.
