FUJI CLIMB UPDATE: "Very Tired"
UPDATE: Our man Flanny has made good progress on the ascent so far. Fujisan, as she's known to the Japanese, is not an easy climb. Even though it's over 30 degrees C in Tokyo, climbers need to be prepared for winter weather up on the summit. His fatique is evident in this photo just received. We're awaiting the next report. Tokyo Time 2:28 AM.

Fuji Climb 8.16.2005
We've some good friends making the ascent of Mt. Fuji this stormy night. They're up there now, as I write this. This photo was taken by "Flanny" with his cell phone camera.
The weather so far this evening, at least down here in western Tokyo, has been thunderstorms w/ heavy showers and lightning. We're posting the pics as they come in. Godspeed, gentlemen.
